The magic of The Wonders of the Sea Museum starts before you even enter. Just an hours drive out of the centre of Beirut, you will find a magical Palace that has been forgotten by time. The stunning Beit ed-Dine palace know as ‘House of Faith’ is classed as Lebanon’s greatest treasure, and once you arrive, it’s not hard to see why. Originally build by Emir Bechir II of the Chehab dynasty, this 19th-century palace is a breathtaking display of Oriental architecture.

The little ones will absolutely love exploring the ancient grounds and rushing through the palace halls. Plus, every summer, the palace hosts the ever popular Beiteddine Art Festival, complete with theatrical performances and musical shows.

Splash the day away
