Otherwise, you can take a Havana Airport taxi on arrival, which doesn’t require a booking. Or, if you’re on a budget, there’s the option of a shuttle bus from Terminals 2 and 3, which takes 40 minutes, or a public bus from Terminal 1, which takes 60 minutes.

When traveling to Old Havana, the Havana Airport transfer time will be just 25 minutes.

If you prefer to make arrangements on arrival, you can jump in a cab on arrival, but you may have to stand in line.

Finally, you can take a shuttle bus, which departs a handful of times throughout the day from Terminals 2 and 3, taking 40 minutes to reach Old Havana. Or, from Terminal 1, you can take a public bus, which takes around 1 hour and is the least popular choice.

The cost of a Havana transfer to and from the airport will depend on which size vehicle you book.

As a guide, a three-seater sedan will cost €42 (CUC 48.50), and for a minivan that can seat up to eight passengers, the journey costs €62 (CUC 71.50). If you’re traveling with a larger group of up to 12 passengers, the cost is €84 (CUC 97).
