La Manga is a very unique destination thanks to its unusual landscape. It’s basically a sand spit that is 21 kilometres long and 100 metres wide and separates the Mediterranean Sea from the Mar Menor; with its multiple luxury holiday resorts, it’s an attractive summer destination for visitors from all around the world.
If your flight arrives at Murcia Airport, you have two different transportation options to get to La Manga. The fastest and most convenient option is to get there with an airport taxi or private transfer, which will take you directly to your destination in 50 minutes for about €55. The second option is to get there by bus. This is a more budget-friendly option but there is no direct bus line; you’ll, therefore, need to take two different buses for a total trip of 2 hours and 15 minutes (not including wait times) at €9 per traveller.
Welcome Pickups offers meet and greet services and a friendly introduction to Murcia at the same price as a regular taxi. Click here to see the cost.
