Václav Havel Airport Prague (PRG) is the busiest airport in the Czech Republic, located approximately 18 km from downtown Prague. There are 3 modes of transportation available when travelling the Prague Airport to city route: taxi, private transfer or bus.
Taking a taxi is the most convenient option and booking an airport taxi is even better as it gives you some added security. The ride from Prague Airport to the city centre costs approximately €31 (CZK 725) and takes around 35 minutes. The cheaper alternative is the AE Express bus, tickets cost just €4 (CZK 100) and you’ll get to the city centre in 40 minutes or so. You can also take a public bus, but these services are not direct.
Whether you need a transfer from Prague Airport to the city centre, to the main train station or somewhere further out, Welcome can accommodate all your needs. With popular day-trip routes such as Karlovy Vary or Cesky Krumlov, you’ll never run out of things to do.
Welcome Pickups offers meet and greet services and a friendly introduction to Prague at the same price as a regular taxi. Click here to see the cost.
