Arriving at Bangkok Airport

After landing at Bangkok International Airport, follow the signs to ‘ARRIVALS’ where overseas passengers will enter the Immigration Clearance area through one of three entrances. Separate counters are used for foreigners and residents; look for the ‘FOREIGN PASSPORT’ sign. Certain countries are required to obtain a visa before traveling to Thailand, and all overseas passengers need to submit a TM.6 Arrival card at Immigration (this requirement is suspended until October 2024).

There is also a lane for Fast Track at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport Arrivals, however, this service is generally reserved for certain passengers such as pregnant, first or business class, elderly, or disabled passengers. The Fast Track lane can be found at Concourse D, at Passport Control Zone 2. We recommend arranging this service through your airline prior to traveling.

Once you’ve cleared Immigration, you can collect any luggage from the Baggage Carousels and then make your way through Customs. If you have nothing to declare, you can use the Green channel, otherwise, you should use the Red channel.

*Bangkok Airport arrivals that need to transfer to another flight should follow the signs for ‘CONNECTING FLIGHTS’.
