Monterrey Airport Arrivals Information
Monterrey Airport has three interconnected terminals within walking distance of each other. Though a handful of airlines operate here, over 10 million passengers pass through Monterrey International Airport (MTY) every year. All three terminals have Arrivals Halls equipped with information desks, newsagents, and refreshments. Arriving at Monterrey Airport
After disembarking your plane at Monterrey, follow the signs to passport control. If you’re arriving on a domestic flight, the Arrivals process is quicker as you likely won’t need to pass immigration. But all international flights will pass through passport control, where relevant travel documents will be checked. Make sure you have a valid passport and visa (if applicable).
Once you’ve gone through immigration successfully, you can head to the baggage reclaim section if you have checked luggage to collect. If you lose any luggage, consult the airline desks in the Arrivals Hall.
After baggage reclaim, there is a customs area. If you know that you’ll have items to declare before you fly, you should fill out the Customs Declaration Form available on the Monterrey Airport Arrivals website. Present this form to the customs agents when you reach the customs department.
Monterrey Airport Transport
The main transport links from Monterrey Airport are taxis, airport transfers, and buses. You can reach the city center in 35 minutes if you take a Monterrey Airport taxi. There are 24-hour taxi stands available outside of each terminal exit.
Alternatively, you can book a Monterrey Airport transfer in advance for even more convenience and comfort.
If you’d rather take the bus, there is a direct bus service from Monterrey Airport to the city center which takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Finally, there are plenty of car rental companies operating at Monterrey Airport if you prefer to drive. You’ll find the kiosks in each of the Monterrey Airport Arrivals Halls.
What to do in Arrivals at Monterrey Airport?
Your experience at Arrivals at Monterrey Airport will depend on which terminal you’re arriving into.
Terminal A (the middle terminal) is the largest. There are plenty of basic facilities such as bathrooms, charging points, free Wi-Fi, medical service, an information desk, and a pharmacy. There are also plenty of shops like Maison Kayser, Las Glorias, and Gran Pastor. As for eateries, there are options like Tacos Fronters, Starbucks, and Carl’s Jr, to whet your appetite.
Terminal B is the second largest terminal. It is similarly equipped with basic facilities and shops like Hudson News and coffee shops like Starbucks for snacks.
Terminal C is the smallest terminal but still has Starbucks and Hudson News for snacks and entertainment.

Monterrey Airport Arrivals Parking
There are several parking lots at Monterrey Airport. If you are collecting someone, there is a car park directly outside of the airport which has free parking for 10 minutes. After that, you’ll need to pay a small fee of $2 (€1.80) per half hour. Each terminal has corresponding long and short-term car parks which a free shuttle bus connecting them all.
