Paros National Airport (PAS)

Paros National Airport (PAS) is a small but busy Airport, serving the Greek Island. The airport is located in the southwest part of the island, around 10 km from Parikia Port. With only one passenger terminal, Paros Airport is easy to navigate, although it can get very crowded during the summer months, when it’s peak season on the island.

The New Paros Airport was completed in 2016 and has a runway of 710 meters. An expansion project is already underway, which aims to turn the airport into an international hub. Currently, the Airport serves flights operated only by Aegean Airlines and Sky Express, the two major local carriers, from and to Athens. During the summer, seasonal flights to and from Thessaloniki and Heraklion are added to the flight schedule.

SPECIAL ASSISTANCE

SPECIAL ASSISTANCE

Passengers who require special assistance before or after their flight need to make a request with their airline when booking their ticket. Both Aegean Airlines and Sky Express, which operate at Paros Airport, offer this possibility via their websites.

Alternatively, you can head directly to your airline’s check-in counter before your flight. However, note that Paros Airport is small and availability may be limited without a prior booking.

Paros Airport Parking

Paros Airport parking is available free of charge right in front of the passenger terminal. However, the parking lot has a capacity of only 70 cars, so securing a spot isn’t guaranteed, especially during the summer. There are private parking lots near the airport, usually with a free shuttle to the airport, so that may be a convenient solution if you can’t find a parking space outside the airport.

Paros Airport Terminal

Paros Airport currently has only one passenger terminal, which serves all domestic departures and arrivals. It’s a small terminal with only the basic facilities, so there is not much to do, but that also makes it very easy to navigate. The airport doesn’t have an official website, so finding a Paros Airport map online can be tricky. You can, however, find Paros Airport photos online to help you get an idea of the terminal layout.

The airport is undergoing a major expansion project, so the current terminal will be replaced by a much larger one by 2026, which will have many more facilities and will be able to serve more flights, to and from both domestic and international destinations.
