Welcome Rewards

The Welcome Pickups Rewards Program is our way of rewarding your loyalty! As a member, you can earn cashback on every transfer and unlock exciting perks. You’ll be rewarded each time you complete a transfer or refer a friend, making your travel experience even more enjoyable.

To view your Welcome Pickups Rewards, simply sign in to your account. If you don’t have an account yet, just book your first transfer and one will be created for you. To enter the Rewards Program, you’ll need to complete at least 2 transfers within a rolling 12-month period to qualify for the first level.

Every completed transfer earns you cashback and moves you through three reward levels. As you level up, your cashback percentage increases, and you unlock exclusive perks. Plus, you can earn even more cashback by referring friends. The more you transfer and refer, the more you earn! 🚖✨

Here’s how it works:

➡️ Level 1

• Unlock: Complete 2 transfers within any 12-month period
• Cashback: Earn 3% of your ride cost as cashback
• Referral perk: €5 cashback for each friend you refer

➡️ Level 2

• Unlock: Complete 5 more transfers within the next 12 months (after reaching Level 1)
• Cashback: Earn 6% of your ride cost as cashback
• Referral perk: €10 cashback for each friend you refer
• Extra perk: Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup

➡️ Level 3

• Unlock: Complete 7 more transfers within the next 12 months (after reaching Level 2)
• Cashback: Earn 8% of your ride cost as cashback
• Referral perk: €10 cashback per referral
• Extra perks: Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup + VIP support chat access

Important notes:

• Only completed transfers count toward your level.
• Rewards for booked transfers will appear as pending until the transfer is fully completed. Once completed, they become active and count toward your level.
• Your current level period lasts for 12 months after unlocking the level.
• You must meet retention thresholds within each level period to maintain your level.
• Your unique referral code can be found in the profile section of your Welcome Pickups account. When a friend books and completes their first transfer using your code, they get a €5 discount, and you earn extra cashback based on your level.

Free cancellation means you can cancel up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time and get a full refund directly to your card. No fees, no hassle—just flexibility when you need it!

You can apply your cashback as a discount when booking your next transfer with Welcome Pickups. At checkout, simply choose to use your available cashback, and the amount will be deducted from the total cost. No need for codes!

Example:
If your transfer costs €70 and you have €6 in active cashback, you’ll only pay €64.

Cashback cannot be combined with coupons. However, if you receive cashback from other promotions (excluding coupons), you can combine it with your loyalty program cashback.

Keep in mind that cashback expires after 1 year of not being used and is non-transferable and can only be used for bookings on your account.

Simply share your unique referral code, which can be found in the profile section of your Welcome Pickups app. When a friend books and completes their first transfer using your code, they get a €5 discount, and you earn extra cashback based on your level.

Advancing through the rewards levels is simple—just keep riding! Your level is based on the number of completed transfers.:

➡️ Level 1 : Complete 2 transfers in any rolling 12-month period.

➡️ Level 2: Complete 5 more transfers within the next 12 months (after reaching Level 1).

➡️ Level 3: Complete 7 more transfers within the next 12 months (after reaching Level 2).

• A user upgrades immediately upon completing the required number of transfers within any rolling 12-month window.
• You have to complete the transfers of each level within a year
  • E.g: to reach Level 2, complete 5 transfers within a year
• Once a level is unlocked, a new 12-month level period begins, during which the user is evaluated for retention or downgrade at the end.
• Example of a timeline: 
  • August 1, 2025 you complete 2 transfers within 12 months and you enter Level 1 
  • Now you have until August 1, 2026 to complete 5 transfers in order to progress to Level 2
  • On July 24, 2026 you complete those 5 transfers and now you have unlocked Level 2 rewards. 
  • By July 24, 2027 you need to complete 7 transfers in order to reach Level 3.

• To retain a level, the user must complete the retention threshold number of transfers during their current 12-month period (when this period expires).
• If they do, the level is renewed for another 12 months, starting from the end of the current period.
• Yes, a user can downgrade
  • At the end of the level period, if the user does not meet the retention threshold, they are downgraded by one level only.
  • Level 1 is permanent: once reached, users cannot be downgraded below it.

➡️ Level 1: No retention needed — once you reach Level 1, it’s yours forever.

➡️ Level 2: Complete at least 3 transfers during your current 12-month Level 2 period to stay at Level 2. If you don’t, you’ll move back to Level 1.

➡️ Level 3: Complete at least 5 transfers during your current 12-month Level 3 period to stay at Level 3. If you don’t, you’ll drop to Level 2.

Yes, you need to maintain the retention threshold of each level to maintain your level status. 

Example:
If you reach Level 3 on April 1, 2025, by completing  transfers within 12 months, you’ll need to complete at least 5 transfers between April 1, 2025, and April 1, 2026, to stay at Level 3. If you drop below this threshold, you’ll move to a lower level

To view your Welcome Pickups Rewards, simply sign in to your account, which is created automatically with your first booking. To enter the Rewards Program, you’ll need to complete at least 2 transfers to qualify for the first level.

If a transfer isn’t completed because the Traveler doesn’t show up at the pickup location by the end of the complimentary waiting time, it won’t count toward rewards.

However, if a transfer is canceled because the Driver didn’t show up at the scheduled time, it will count toward your level progression, but no cashback will be awarded for that transfer.

➡️Level 0:
• Fewer than 2 completed transfers — you’re not in the Rewards Program yet.

➡️Level 1:
• Upgrade: Complete 2 transfers in any 12-month period.
• Retention: None — Level 1 is permanent.
• Downgrade: Not applicable.

➡️Level 2:
• Upgrade: Complete 5 more transfers while in Level 1 (within 12 months).
• Retention: Complete at least 3 transfers in your Level 2 period to stay at Level 2.
• Downgrade: If not met, drop to Level 1.

➡️Level 3:
• Upgrade: Complete 7 more transfers while in Level 2 (within 12 months).
• Retention: Complete at least 5 transfers in your Level 3 period to stay at Level 3.
• Downgrade: If not met, drop to Level 2.
