If you’re meeting someone on arrival, it’s a good idea to confirm the exact time you or your loved one’s flight is due to land, which you can do using our live flight tracker above.

Arriving at Ankara Airport
International travelers will be directed toward Immigration after disembarking their flight. Several countries have a visa-free arrangement with Turkey, allowing them to enter free of charge for a certain number of days. All other Ankara Airport international arrivals will need to present an e-visa when checking in, or apply for a visa-on-arrival. Note that applying for an e-visa in advance saves both time and money.
On the other hand, if you’ve flown domestically, simply follow the signs toward “Baggage Claim” immediately after landing.
All passengers will be asked to declare restricted food and imported items; if you’re not carrying any of these items, you can use the green “Nothing to Declare” lane and enter the Arrivals Hall.
*Most international arrivals transit through Istanbul Airport (IST), where immigration proceedings are carried out before landing at Ankara Airport. Nevertheless, it’s important that you still follow the signs to the international baggage claim area, not the domestic.
Ankara Airport Transport
All transport services depart from outside Arrivals at Ankara Airport, so you won’t have to walk too far no matter which option you choose.
Official taxi stands for Ankara Airport taxis are conveniently located right in front of each exit, or, if you’ve pre-booked an Ankara Airport transfer with a private company, your driver will more than likely meet you inside.
There are a couple of bus services; the Havas shuttle bus is the fastest of the two, whereas the 442 public bus is the cheapest transport option available.
