When you rent an apartment with Blueground, you’ll now have the option to book a private transfer with Welcome Pickups to take you straight to your door.
We’ll make sure your journey to and from your new home is safe and comfortable. No need to worry about delays if you’re travelling from abroad – the drivers will wait for you to arrive. They’ll also share heaps of advice on the local area, so you’ll feel right at home.
How does the integration work?
A few days prior to your arrival, you’ll receive an email with a link to the Welcome Pickups transfer page. Here, you can book a private transfer to your new home. The process is very straightforward and only takes a few seconds to complete.
You’ll receive your driver’s details, including a photo, up to 24 hours before you arrive, so you know exactly who to expect. On the day of arrival, your driver will greet you at your chosen collection point to take you to your new apartment.
Safe transfers and safe homes
Providing comfortable and safe homes is a top priority for Blueground. That’s why thorough cleaning and disinfection procedures are in place before entering an apartment, while on-premise and upon departing. Moreover, if being on-site is not a requirement, their support can be fully contactless and offered via the app, phone or email. All procedures are in alignment with CDC & WHO guidelines.
At the same time, Welcome Pickups has introduced contactless rides and protective equipment to make sure every journey is safe, so you can request to have zero contact with the driver when you book. All surfaces in the car will have been thoroughly cleaned before arrival too, as our drivers take 20 minutes between every journey to sanitise and disinfect their vehicle.
