PFO Airport Live Departures

Checking in at Paphos Airport

When you arrive at the Paphos International Airport Departures area, the first thing you’ll need to do is check-in unless you’ve already done so online. If you’d prefer an in-person check-in or don’t have the option to check in online, you can use the information boards inside the entrance to the airport. Here, you’ll find the agent-manned desk that corresponds to your airline and flight number. This is also where you’ll drop off any checked-in baggage. Alternatively, you may use the kiosks that allow for self-check-in, which also print luggage tags for anyone who has checked in online but needs to put bags in the hold.

Once inside, you’ll quickly spot the check-in desks, self-service kiosks, bag drop belts, and security areas.

When to arrive at Paphos Airport?

For most passengers, arriving at Departures at Paphos Airport two hours in advance should give you sufficient time to check in, pass through security, and get to your gate. If you’re catching a long-haul flight or traveling during the peak summer season, give yourself up to three hours. Always check the Paphos Airport Departures schedule when planning your arrival.

What’s next?

After check-in, you’ll continue to the security area. This step usually takes less than 15 minutes, but it largely depends on how busy the airport is.

Your belongings will be screened using an X-ray machine, and you’ll need to remove items like electronics, shoes, jackets, keys, and wallets and place them into the trays provided. Any liquids you have must be sealed in a clear plastic bag, and no more than ten 100ml liquids are permitted per person. While your items move along the conveyor belt to be scanned, you’ll walk through a metal detector before collecting them on the other side. Note that firearms and sharp or flammable objects cannot be brought through to the Paphos Airport Departures lounge.

To ensure a quick, seamless experience at security, you have the option of booking a pass for the Fast Lane via the Paphos Airport website.
