Krabi International Airport (KBV) is located in Nuea Khlong district, and it’s the only international airport serving Krabi province in southern Thailand. It’s only 7 km east of Krabi Town, and transportation to and from the airport is easy by taxis, private transfer, and a local bus.
Krabi Airport handles both Domestic and International flights by major carriers, like AirAsia, Bangkok Airways, Etihad Airways, and Scoot, low-cost carriers, like Thai AirAsia, and seasonal carriers, like LOT, Neos, and TUI fly Nordic.
The airport’s original 3 million passenger per year capacity was increased after a renovation to 8 million passengers per year. The expansion projects are still underway.

Terminal Information
Krabi Airport initially had two terminals, with Terminal 1 serving international flights and Terminal 2 serving domestic flights. The airport’s capacity was not enough to handle the increasing passenger traffic, and an expansion project has been underway. This project replaced those two terminals with Terminal 3, which serves both international and domestic departures and arrivals. The project hasn’t yet been completed, so finding a complete Krabi Airport map isn’t possible yet, as more facilities are still being added to the airport’s infrastructure.
