Arriving at Brussels Airport

Arrivals to Brussels Airport from a fellow Schengen country don’t need to stand in line for immigration, they can head straight through to the baggage carrousels to collect any luggage. Keep in mind, however, that all passengers need to carry some form of official ID on them. Passengers from non-Schengen countries will need to pass through passport control with their passport and any necessary travel documents.

After you’ve collected your baggage you will pass through customs; if you have nothing to declare follow the signs to the Green Customs lane, if you do have items to declare, you should proceed through the Red Customs lane.

*If you have a connecting flight that requires you to exit or enter the Schengen area, you will need to pass through passport control. Upon arrival, follow the red Connections sign to your departure gate.
