Calgary Airport is also part of the Sunflower Badge scheme. This is an international initiative for airports around the world to recognize invisible disabilities such as mental health struggles, autism, hard-of-hearing, and visual impairments. It’s optional, but if you’d like airport staff to be aware of your invisible disability, simply wear a sunflower lanyard or badge. This will subtly signal that you may need extra support when traveling through the airport.
