Arriving at Kayseri Airport

You’ll be guided to the arrivals area as you disembark the plane at Kayseri Airport. The first port of call for international arrivals at Kayseri Airport is passport control. You’ll need to present valid travel documents, including your passport and/or any relevant visas. Many EU and EFTA members do not need a visa for the first 90 days of travel. We recommend checking the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs website for guidance.

If you’re arriving at the Domestic Terminal at Kayseri Airport, you can skip passport control and head straight to baggage reclaim. To find where your luggage will be delivered, check the screens above the conveyor belts. They display the corresponding flight numbers and airlines.

Once you’ve collected your luggage, you can pass through customs. If you have items to declare, you can wait by the tables, and a customs officer will be with you shortly. Alternatively, you can walk straight through to the Kayseri Airport Arrivals Hall.

Kayseri Airport Transport

Wondering how to travel from the airport? Kayseri Arrivals have four options: taxi, public bus, Havas shuttle bus, or private transfer.

Taking a Kayseri Airport taxi is a popular choice, taking just 15 minutes to reach the Kayseri city center. However, there can be a long wait for a cab on busy days. If you book a Kayseri Airport Transfer in advance, you get to skip the taxi queue and be greeted at Arrivals by a professional, English-speaking driver.

A cheaper alternative is to take the Havas Shuttle Bus costs around €1.40 (TRY 50) and takes 35 minutes. There is also a public bus No.100 that is even cheaper at €0.50 (TRY 20) but the journey takes 40 minutes.

Finally, you can also find rental car companies in the Kayseri Airport Arrivals Hall. This is a good option if you’re comfortable driving in Turkey and want more flexibility getting around the Cappadocia region.

Kayseri Airport Arrivals Parking

If you’re collecting someone from Kayseri Airport, there is a pickup point directly outside the terminal building. However, you can’t stop your car there for long, and you can’t leave your car unattended. If you need to go into the terminal building to wait for your passenger, you’ll need to park in the Kayseri Airport car park across from the terminal buildings.
