Located just outside the city of Liverpool, Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LPL) – known as Liverpool Airport – handles just over 5 million passengers annually, making it one of the busiest airports in the UK. The single terminal building is home to 10 low-cost carriers including Aer Lingus and Ryanair with flights to numerous destinations across Europe, including Spain, Italy, and Poland.

Terminal Information

Liverpool John Lennon Airport has one main terminal building split across three levels, servicing both domestic and international flights. The Ground Floor is mainly used for Arrivals and checking-in, whereas Levels 2 and 3 are used for Departures. The current terminal, which has one runway, was reopened in 2002 by Queen Elizabeth II after being renamed after the former Beatle, John Lennon.
