Arriving at Marseille Airport
Marseille Provence Airport Arrivals are on Level 1 in Terminal 1. If you’re arriving on a non-Schengen flight, then you will need to go through Border Control, which usually takes from 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the time of day and season you’re traveling. If you’re arriving on a Schengen flight, then you can head directly to baggage reclaim and the exit.
Terminal 2 Arrivals are on Level 2, and you need to go through Border Control before heading down to baggage reclaim on Level 1.
Regardless of the terminal you’re arriving at, don’t forget to check the local customs regulations and stop by Customs in Arrivals before heading to the exit.
Marseille Airport Transport
Marseille Airport is around 25 km northwest of the city center, and there are several transportation options available. For travelers who prefer public transport, the L91 bus is a great value-for-money choice to reach the city. If you prefer to travel by train, you can take the ‘Lebus L13+’ shuttle to Vitrolles-Aéroport Marseille Provence train station and catch the train to Saint-Charles train station.
If you’re looking for door-to-door transportation, a Marseille Airport taxi from the official taxi rank in front of the terminal or a private, pre-booked Marseille Airport transfer with Welcome Pickups is a better choice for a smoother arrival into the city or any other destination.
