Milan Bergamo Airport, also known as Bergamo Orio al Serio Airport and Il Caravaggio International Airport, is 45 km northeast of Milan. It is the third busiest airport in Italy, welcoming over 16 million passengers annually. 

Though boasting only one terminal, it has become a popular airport with low-cost carriers, with Ryanair among its largest operators. About 20 airlines operate flights from and to Bergamo Airport, including easyJet, Transavia, and Wizz Air. Seven tour operators also run charter flights during peak season.

Bergamo Airport offers a luggage storage service near parking P1, outside the airport. The cost is €5 per day and per bag. It is open every day from 08:00 to 22:00, with staff on-site until 18:00. Passengers who want to collect or leave luggage after 18:00 must inform staff. The contact details are in the ‘Practical Information’ section.

 A wrapping service is also available in the Departures Area, on the Ground Floor.

For extra convenience, a porter service can be booked for arrivals and departures to and from the terminal. With this service, luggage is carried to and from outside the airport and to and from parking P1 and P2. The cost is €50 for up to four pieces of luggage.

Milan Bergamo Airport Parking

Bergamo Airport parking has about 8,000 spaces spread across three areas. The rates vary depending on the parking chosen and the duration of stay. A free shuttle connects parking P3, the furthest away, to the airport. The bus shuttle runs 24/7 with a frequency of 20 minutes. Car spaces should be booked online to benefit from a discounted rate.

Short-term parking

P1: 2-minute walk to the terminal.

Dedicated parking for short stays: the first 20 minutes are free, then it is €2.50 for the first hour, and up to €36 for a day.

Bergamo Airport has no train station, but you can ride the ATB Airport Bus 1 to ‘Stazione Marconi per Città Alta’ for 15 minutes to reach Bergamo Train Station.
