Terminal 1

Location: Arrivals are on the Ground Level of Terminal 1.

Operating Airlines: Air Canada, Air Europa, American Airlines, Avianca, Cayman Airways, Copa Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Iberia, LASER Airlines, Sunrise Airways, Turkish Airlines, Venezolana.

Terminal 2

Location: Arrivals are on the Ground Level of Terminal 2.

Operating Airlines: Air France, Copa Airlines, KLM, United Airlines.

Arriving at Panama City Airport

Upon landing at PTY, follow the clearly marked signs for “Arrivals.” Panama Citizens or Residents will have one immigration lane and foreign nationals another. Ensure you have your Passport and any appropriate visas to enter Panama. From there, follow the signs to Baggage Claim to collect any luggage.

After your bags are retrieved you can proceed to Customs. If you have goods to declare, follow the signs accordingly to do so. After Customs is the Arrivals Hall, where you’ll find several transportation options. Both Terminals follow this same general route. If you’re unsure where to go, ask an employee for assistance!

Panama City Airport Transport

Tocumen International Airport has its own metro station, Line 2, that will take you downtown in 40-60 minutes. Panama City Airport taxi and transfer vehicles are lined up right outside the building in ranks.

What to do in Arrivals at Panama City Airport?

If you have a few hours to burn while you wait for your loved one’s arrival, they’ll fly by at PTY! The airport’s Ground Level is well-equipped with cafés and restaurants where you can enjoy Panamanian cuisine while surfing the airport’s free Wifi. If shopping is more your style, there are a few souvenir shops before security where you can check out some needlework hats, rum, and other local fares. Panama City Airport Arrivals Parking

PTY’s parking is conveniently located right outside Arrivals. The parking fees are $3.60 (€3.30) for 3 hours, $12.00 (€11.10) for 6 hours, and $24 for a full day (€22.20). There is no long-term parking currently available at Tocumen Airport, but the newer lot that will provide this service is currently being constructed. In the meantime, the rates are pretty reasonable.
