Arriving at Phuket Airport

Once you’ve exited the plane, you will begin seeing signs for “Passport Control”. In Phuket Airport international arrivals, the passport control area is on Floor 2, so you will need to use the stairs, lifts or escalators to reach it, while in the domestic terminal, it’s on Floor 1. Before entering Passport Control, it’s advisable to have your ID and necessary documentation on hand to show to the border control officers. There will be two different sections to Passport Control – Nationals and Foreign Visitors – so be sure to choose one of the correct lines.

After passing through Passport Control, you will then enter the Baggage Claim area, where you can collect your personal belongings. The correct carousel for your flight will be shown on the screens in the Baggage Claim area. Once you have your belongings, you can head through customs and out into the Phuket Airport Arrivals Hall.
