The service departs from the airport every hour and drops you off at the Central Bus Station in Phuket Town, although waiting times can sometimes be up to 2 hours in peak season.

The bus terminal is located at Phuket Airport’s arrival terminal, on the left side of the exit doors. It should be easy to find as there is signage placed around the airport, or you can ask the airport staff for directions.

If you’re after a cheap way to get to the city centre of Phuket and don’t mind waiting around for a bus, the 8411 Airport Bus is a solid choice. It’s the only public transportation option and runs fairly frequently between the two points. However, there are several stops along the way, making the journey quite long compared to that of a taxi.
