Arriving at Seychelles Airport
As soon as you disembark from the plane and head towards the Mahe Airport Arrivals Hall, you’ll be required to pass through the facial recognition corridor. This helps to speed up the immigration process, as, in most cases, you won’t need to stop at the passport control counters and present your documents. For this reason, you’ll be required to complete a travel authorization form before your arrival.
From here, you’ll continue to the Baggage Reclaim area. After you’ve collected any of your checked bags, you’ll need to clear customs before you can exit the airport. Ensure you’re up to speed with the customs regulations for entering the Seychelles, as you may find you’re carrying goods that must be declared. Even if you have nothing to declare, you might be asked to put your luggage through the X-ray scanner.
Seychelles Airport Transport
SPTC buses connect the Seychelles International Airport Arrivals area with the island’s capital, Victoria. Buses depart from the stop on the main road opposite the international terminal. Alternatively, you’ll have the option of getting a Seychelles Airport taxi or Seychelles Airport transfer, both of which are available from the taxi ranks outside the terminals and offer door-to-door service.

Both the domestic and international Seychelles Airport Arrivals Halls have a selection of amenities for passengers who’ve just landed or visitors picking up a loved one. Each offers seating areas, an hour of free WiFi, ATMs, currency exchange kiosks, and toilets, though the international terminal is larger and offers more facilities.

Seychelles Airport Arrivals Parking
Just a few minutes from each of the Mahe Airport Arrivals areas is a short-term parking lot. You’ll have 15 minutes of free parking here. If you stay after this time, you’ll pay €1.30 (SCR 20) for up to an hour of parking. Payments can be made using either cash or card.
