Arriving at Beirut Airport
After disembarking the plane, you may be able to walk directly into the terminal. Then, you’ll need to go to border control. You can check the Lebanon embassy website for more details on visa-exempt passport holders. You’ll also be asked some questions about your trip by the border force staff. Once you’ve passed through passport control, you can collect your luggage from the baggage reclaim area. The conveyor belts are marked with your flight number and airline. After collecting your luggage, there is one more step.
In the customs area, you need to hand in your customs declaration form (if applicable) and may be subject to a mandatory search of your luggage before heading into the Arrivals Hall at Beirut Airport.
Beirut Airport Transport
There is very limited transportation available at Beirut Airport. You can reach the city center in 15 minutes if you take a Beirut Airport taxi. There are 24-hour taxi stands available outside of the terminal. The taxis at the official taxi stand are insured by the airport and should provide a safe service at a reasonable price. However, it’s important that you agree on a price for your journey with your taxi driver before your ride begins.
Alternatively, you can book a Beirut Airport transfer in advance for even more convenience and comfort. That way, you can skip the taxi queue and pay a fixed rate in advance of your trip.
Finally, you can find car rental kiosks in the Arrivals Hall. Rental cars are kept in the main parking lot.

Valet and car wash services are first-come, first-served. You’ll need to pay for parking at the airport as you can’t reserve parking in advance.
