Checking in at Bodrum Airport

Checking in at Milas-Bodrum Airport is simple. The first step is to identify which terminal you’re departing from. The terminals are divided into international and domestic flights and are within walking distance of each other.

Once you’ve figured out which of the terminal buildings you need to go to, head to your airline’s check-in desk. This should be labeled with your flight number on the screen above the check-in desk. Ensure you have a valid passport and ID card as well as your travel documents — for example, your visa (if applicable) and ticket information. Baggage restrictions vary from airline to airline, so consult the airline website before arriving. If all is correct, the airline staff will give you a boarding pass that you’ll need to keep to hand throughout your transit at Bodrum Airport.

Note: If you are driving to the airport, there is a Bodrum Airport departures parking lot opposite the International Terminal building. You can park here for up to 15 days.

Check out our Bodrum Airport live departures board above for the latest information.

Domestic Terminal – The check-in desks are located on the back wall of the main terminal building. You’ll see them as soon as you enter the main entrance. International Terminal – Check-in is located on the upper floor of the terminal building.

When to arrive at Bodrum Airport?

We recommend that departures from Bordum Airport arrive at least 1.5 hours before their flights if flying domestically. International passengers should arrive 2 hours before their flights to ensure they have enough time to get through security and passport control.

What’s next?

After dropping off your bags and check-in with your airline, it’s time to go through security.

You are permitted to carry liquids in your hand luggage if you abide by the following regulations:

  • Liquids, gels, and aerosols must be carried in individual containers that are a maximum of 100ml each.
  • All liquids in their containers must be placed in one transparent, resealable plastic bag with a maximum volume of 1 liter.
  • Each passenger can carry one plastic bag each.
  • Baby food, milk, and other essential baby products do not need to be carried in a plastic bag nor do they need to abide by the same quantity restrictions. You can carry as much as is necessary for your baby during your transit through Bodrum Airport.
  •  If you have been prescribed medicine that is over the liquid limit, you’ll need to present a valid prescription to be able to take it through security.

As you are queuing at the security checkpoint, remove the liquids bag and any electronics from your hand luggage for scanning. You should also follow the guidance as to whether outerwear and shoes need to be scanned seperately too.
