Arriving at Bordeaux Airport

When you disembark the aircraft, follow the overhead signage guiding you to the Arrivals Hall. Along the way, you’ll need to go through passport control, where you’ll be asked for any other travel documents relevant to your visit. Even if you’re arriving on a flight from another destination in the Schengen zone, you’ll be required to present your passport at this stage. If you’re traveling with a passport from a country within the European Union or other select European nations, you may use the e-gates rather than queuing for the border guard-manned counter.

After immigration, you’ll reach the Baggage Reclaim area. Once you’ve collected any checked luggage, the final step to complete before getting to Bordeaux Airport Arrivals is to clear customs. Those with nothing to declare can pass through customs in under a minute, but anyone with goods to declare will need to complete the necessary paperwork and may be subject to additional checks. Before you arrive, make sure you familiarize yourself with the customs regulations for entering France.

Bordeaux Airport Transport

Whether you choose to pre-book a Bordeaux Airport transfer, hop into a Bordeaux Airport taxi, or utilize public transport, you’ll find that it’s super simple to get to the city center from any of the Arrivals Halls. Transfers and taxis depart 24/7 from the dedicated ranks, just steps from the departure points for tram line A and the 30’Direct shuttle bus.

The Express Parking area is perhaps the most convenient, as it offers ten minutes of free parking at a time, with up to three entries within a 24-hour period. There’s also a drop-off area right outside Terminals A and B, though parking is only permitted here for a maximum of five minutes, and you must stay in or next to your vehicle. Like the Express Parking lot, you can drive into the drop-off zone up to three times in 24 hours.
