The largest and busiest airport in South-Eastern Europe, Bucharest International Airport (OTP) welcomes around 15 million passengers through its doors annually. Passengers can reach more than one hundred destinations across 37 countries in the Middle East, Europe and Africa. Bucharest Airport has one large terminal building separated into an Arrivals and Departures Area which is connected via a pedestrian passageway on Level 1. After recently joining the Schengen Zone, the terminal was split between Schengen and non-Schengen Areas for Immigration and some services and facilities.
