Visas are typically granted for stays of up to 90 days, however, some countries are exempt from needing one.

Once you’ve passed through Immigration, you can proceed to the Baggage Claim area. The final stage before entering the Arrivals Hall is to pass through Customs, where you must declare any listed items to a customs officer. Prior to traveling or upon landing, a South African Traveller Declaration form should be completed, which can be done either online or manually by filling in a TC01 form. Then, if you have nothing to declare you can use the Green channel, otherwise, you should use the Red channel.

*If you are flying domestically, you can head straight through to collect your bags and then enter the Arrivals Hall.
