Arriving at Denver Airport
If you’ve traveled from a country that facilitates U.S. Customs and Border Protection Pre-Clearance, you’ll be able to skip this step on arrival. Otherwise, Denver International Airport Arrivals will land at Concourse A and be directed to Immigration in the Jeppesen Terminal.
Passengers will need to present a passport with at least 6 months’ validity, and may be asked to show a return air ticket. You’ll also need to show a current visa, or, if your country is part of the Visa Waiver Program (VWP), you’ll need to apply for an Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) before traveling.
Once you’ve cleared Immigration, follow the signs to the “Baggage Claim” hall on Level 5 and refer to the information monitors to find your carousel. Note that domestic passengers will be able to immediately collect their bags on arrival.
The final step will be to pass through Customs; be ready to hand your completed CBP Form 6059B to the CBP officer at the exit, indicating whether you have any items to declare.
Denver Airport Transport
Fortunately, arrivals at Denver Airport are well connected to the city center with trains, buses, and taxis available around the clock. Public buses and trains, including the direct A-Line service, depart from the DEN Transit Center located on Level 1. To find the Transit Center and station, exit the Jeppesen Terminal at the south end and take the escalator down.
If you’ve arranged a private Denver Airport car service, your driver will most likely meet you on Level 4. Otherwise, you can catch a Denver Airport taxi from outside the Arrivals Hall on Level 5 without a booking.

Note that doors are labeled 400 on this floor; doors ending in an even number are located on the west side, and odd door numbers are on the east side. To avoid any confusion, be sure to take the escalator or elevator down one level after collecting any luggage, without exiting the terminal.
