Checking in at Gdansk Airport is straightforward as the airport is well-designed and well-signposted. When to arrive at Gdansk Airport?
Gdansk Airport recommends that you arrive 2 hours before your flight if you are going to a Schengen or domestic location. For non-Schengen flights, you should arrive 3 hours before to give you ample time to go through passport control. At a minimum, arrive 40 minutes before your scheduled flight time, but only if you’re traveling at a quiet time of year.

After checking in and leaving your bags with your airline, you can head to the security checkpoint. The checkpoint has plenty of signage to help departures from Gdansk Airport understand the security procedures. As for food and drink, there is a selection of restaurants and coffee shops such as McDonald’s and the Imperial Club bar. The Gdansk Airport departures Duty-Free provides an array of souvenirs and gift items. You can also find a newsagent for books, magazines, and snacks.
If you’d like a quieter place to relax with fast, free WiFi and complimentary snacks, you can book a spot in the Business Class VIP Lounge. It is open to any passengers traveling through GDN for a fee of €35 (PLN 150) per person. It is open from 05:00 – 21:00, but you are only permitted access for 2 hours before your scheduled flight.
