There are two sections at the airport where you can get a taxi from. The taxi rank at the airport is located right outside the Arrivals terminal and is designated for Neptun, the official taxi company that serves the airport.

All the other pre-booked taxi companies will pick up and drop off from the ‘Kiss and Fly’ parking area that is directly next to the taxi rank – unless your provider has given you a different pickup point, of course!

The train departs from Port Lotniczy Station at the airport and will transport you to Wrzeszcz Station which is about 3 km north of the city centre. From Wrzeszcz Station the easiest thing you can do is to then take the next train to Gdansk Glowny the city’s main railway station. The second leg of the journey should be a short ride, between 5-10 minutes, depending on the number of stops your chosen train makes.

The Gdansk Airport train station (Port Lotniczy) is located in Terminal 2 (T2) and is connected to it by a footbridge. It is a short walk from the Arrivals Hall where you will find signs showing you the direction of the train station.

The train from Gdansk Airport to the city centre is an affordable and convenient public transport option with its regular, daily service. It does however involve changing trains at Wrzeszcz Station in order to get closer to the centre of the city, so requires a longer travel time and having to navigate this connection. You will also still have to make your way from the main train station (Gdansk Glowny) to your final destination which may involve walking, having to catch another public transport service (bus, tram) or taking a short taxi ride.
