Arriving at Sabiha Gökçen Airport

The process for Sabiha Gokcen domestic arrivals is quite straightforward. After disembarking from the plane, make your way to the Baggage Claim area and refer to the information screens to find which belt your luggage will appear on. Once you’ve collected your luggage, be sure to declare any necessary items at the Customs counter, before making your way through to the Arrivals Hall.

If you’re arriving from overseas, you’ll be given a Health Declaration Card to fill in during your flight which will be handed to a member of staff shortly after landing, right before undergoing a health screening using a thermal camera.

Most Sabiha Gokcen Airport International arrivals will also need to present a visa to Immigration when they land. While some countries are exempt, most visitors will need to apply for a 90-day tourism visa that should be granted before traveling. Passengers will also need to show the immigration officer a passport with an expiry date at least 60 days beyond the 90-day visa period.

Following this, you can then collect your luggage and pass through Customs as you would for a domestic flight.
