Special Assistance

The Airports Company of South Africa is responsible for ensuring that the Johannesburg Airport terminal meets certain requirements to support passengers with reduced mobility (PRM). As such, there are lifts, ramps, and accessible toilets located throughout each terminal, in addition to disabled parking bays on each level of the multi-story car park.

For passengers who require extra assistance, wheelchairs are available on request. We recommend notifying your airline at least 24 hours in advance, otherwise, you can make yourself known at the Information counter on arrival.
