Arriving at Beauvais Airport

Before landing at Paris Beauvais Airport, it’s good to know what to expect. The process is simple enough, just follow the signs for the French Border Police as you exit the aircraft. Regardless of whether you’re flying from a Schengen country, all passengers are expected to present identification and any other documents at Border Control.

You’ll see two queues, one for ‘EU Citizens’ and the other for ‘All Passports’. Just get in the correct line and have your passport and the correct travel documents ready. It’s always best to check this beforehand, especially if you are flying from a non-Schengen country.

Beauvais Airport Border Control waiting times usually take between 20 and 45 minutes, depending on how busy the airport is. Weekly rush hours, peak season, and school holidays tend to be the busiest times.

Lastly, pick up your luggage from Baggage Claim and exit into the Arrivals Hall. There are no official Customs desks at Beauvais Airport Arrivals, so you’ll need to call ahead and arrange an appointment if you have items to declare. However, you’ll still find Customs Officers doing random checks at the airport. Make sure you double-check customs regulations for entering Paris in advance so that you can contact Paris Beauvais Airport Customs before your flight.

Beauvais Airport Transport

Beauvais Airport doesn’t have a train station on-site, but there are still plenty of transport options available from the airport. When it comes to buses, you can use the Paris-Beauvais Airport shuttle to get to Paris, and the No. 6 Corolis shuttle service heads to the centre of Beauvais. If you want to catch a train to Paris or other destinations, you can take a taxi or bus to the SNCF Beauvais Train Station 5 km away from the airport complex.

Likewise, taxis and private transfers are available 24 hours a day from outside of the terminals.
