Rome–Ciampino International Airport “G. B. Pastine” is the secondary international airport serving the city of Rome, following Fiumicino Airport. It is the closest airport to Rome, located approximately 12 km from the city centre. Whilst CIA Airport is a small aviation hub, it still welcomes over 3 million passengers a year and acts as a hub for various low-cost carriers such as Ryanair and Wizz Air.
