Checking in at Wroclaw Airport
Departures from Wroclaw Airport can check in online up to 24 hours in advance, so long as they don’t require a visa for the country they are traveling to. If you choose this option, on arrival at the airport, you can use the Bag Drop lane to place your luggage. Alternatively, your airline may provide the use of self-service kiosks where you can check in and print your boarding pass, before dropping off any luggage.
If these options aren’t suitable for you, which is often the case for overseas travel outside the Schengen Zone, you will need to approach the check-in counter for your airline to complete the check-in procedures on your behalf.

When to arrive at Wroclaw Airport?
When flying domestically from the airport in Wroclaw, departures should aim to arrive two hours in advance to allow enough time to check in and clear Security. The same applies to those visiting a country within the Schengen Zone.
For overseas flights to non-Schengen countries, passengers should allow up to three hours to complete all check-in procedures, including Passport Control. In any case, it is important to follow your airline’s guidance.

Once you have your boarding pass, it’s time to pass through the Security gates so that you can enter the boarding area. The Wroclaw Airport departures area is divided across two levels, with the Security placed on the lower level to the right of the check-in counters.
Before leaving home, you should ensure that your hand luggage doesn’t contain any prohibited items, and that any liquids, gels, creams, or aerosols under 100 mL have been separated into a clear plastic bag. Anything over 100 mL will need to be packed in your checked baggage or discarded.
Once you reach the x-ray screener, remove any loose items from your pockets, such as keys, coins, or your mobile phone, and place them in one of the trays provided. Do the same for any electronic devices such as laptops and tablets, along with your jacket, hat, and shoes – if you’re wearing them.
Depending on whether you are flying in winter or the busy summer season, wait times for clearing Security can reach 30 minutes. To avoid standing in line, Fast Track passes can be purchased either online for just €4.90 (PLN 21) or from the airport for €7 (PLN 30). The pass will grant you access to a priority lane.

The Departures Hall on the upper level is divided into a Schengen and non-Schengen Zone, with a small area only accessible by those traveling outside the zone. Otherwise, all passengers have access to duty-free shopping, boutique shops, several eateries, a smoking area, toilets, a playground, free WiFi, a conference room, and a Business Lounge.
