Dubai Airport goes the extra mile for travelers who need a little extra support. From wheelchair access and priority lanes to hidden disability assistance marked with the “Butterfly” symbol, help is always close by. Just let your airline know at least 48 hours in advance, or head to an information desk on arrival to request support.

To make your journey as stress-free as possible, Dubai Airport offers multiple baggage services to its passengers.

Porters: Starting from €7.20 (AED 30) a porter will carry your luggage from the entrance of the airport to your flight or from baggage claim to your chosen mode of transportation.

Storage: If you’re on a layover or want to explore the city hands-free, you can store your bags short-term at Dubai Airport Terminals 1, 2, and 3. Prices vary slightly depending on the size and value of your luggage:

Standard luggage – €9.60 (AED 40) for up to 12 hours in Terminals 1 & 2, €8.40 (AED 35) in Terminal 3.

Non-standard or valuable items – €12 (AED 50) in Terminals 1 & 2, €9.60 (AED 40) in Terminal 3.

Where to find them:

Terminal 1 – dnata Baggage Services on the Arrivals level, near Boots Pharmacy and Etisalat.

Terminal 2 – dnata Baggage Services.

Terminal 3 – Emirates Left Luggage on the Arrivals level, near Exit 1, behind Boots Pharmacy.

Trolleys: Dubai International Airport offers large luggage trolleys free of charge for use inside the airport. This is a great option if you have multiple pieces of luggage to carry. 

There is a large selection of Dubai Airport lounge options available to travelers. Some lounges are exclusive to certain airlines, while others are open to any First Class or Business Class passenger.

Each lounge has its own unique offerings, but most include delicious food and drink options, shower rooms to refresh yourself between flights, large flat screen TVs and modern, luxury décor. Some lounges go above and beyond, offering massage services and private loungers for meditation or taking a quick nap. 

Here’s a list of the main Dubai Airport Lounges:

Terminal 1
marhaba Lounge – Located near Gate D23. Offers refreshments, Wi-Fi, business services, and shower facilities.

Terminal 2
marhaba Lounge – Located near the main departure area. Offers snacks, Wi-Fi, and a quiet space to relax before your flight.

Terminal 3
Ahlan Business Class Lounge – Located in the Arrivals area (Concourse B). A meet-and-greet service that includes lounge access for arriving passengers.

Al Majlis VIP Service – Located in a dedicated building near Terminal 3. Ultra-premium lounge service with immigration assistance and luxury transport.

Emirates Lounges – Multiple lounges in Concourses A, B, and C for First and Business Class passengers and eligible Emirates Skywards members.

marhaba Lounge – Located in Concourse A and B. Available to all travelers, with a range of refreshments, showers, and business facilities.

Plaza Premium Lounge – Located in Concourse A and B. Offers buffet dining, Wi-Fi, and relaxation areas.

*Most Dubai Airport lounges are open 24 hours a day or close after the last departure, however, we recommend checking with the specific lounge you’d like to enjoy to be sure.

Whether you want to refresh during a long layover or have an early morning flight, the dedicated Sleep ’n Fly services are a great option.

There are Dubai Airport sleeping pods for solo travelers, cabins for couples and family suites for larger groups and those with little ones. The service also comes with shower access.

The Sleep ’n Fly scheme is pay per hour, so you can choose to enjoy a quick power nap or a full night’s sleep. You can access the Sleep ’n Fly hotel in the transit area of Terminal 1 and Dubai Airport Terminal 3.
