Arriving at Mykonos Airport

Mykonos Airport is small and all flights land on a small runway. Passengers reach the terminal either on foot or by an airport bus, depending on how far the plane lands from the terminal. Inside the terminal, you will find clear signage in English, guiding you to passport control, baggage claim, and customs. If you’re an EU citizen travelling inside the Schengen zone, you don’t need to go through passport control but it’s best to check the requirements regarding travel documents in any case.

Also, it’s a good idea to check local customs restrictions before travelling as to what needs to be declared. If you have nothing to declare, you can claim any luggage and head towards the exit to reach Mykonos Airport Arrivals Hall.

Mykonos Airport Transport

Mykonos Airport is only 3 km east of the town of Mykonos and you can easily get there by bus or taxi. The local bus (KTEL) departs every hour during the high season and will take you to the Fabrika bus station, right in the centre of town.

An airport taxi from the rank in front of the terminal or, better yet, a private transfer is a more convenient choice as you will reach your accommodation anywhere on the island directly at a competitive rate.

What to do at Arrivals at Mykonos Airport?
