Arriving at Orlando Airport

As you touch down in the sunny city of Orlando and get off the plane, follow the signs to “immigration”. At passport control, have your travel documents ready for scanning. American and Canadian citizens/residents can use the passport e-gates for ease. Otherwise, line up to see a border control officer at the manned desks. If you’re flying domestically, you’ll be guided to skip passport control.

After passing through immigration, you can head to baggage reclaim. In Terminals A & B, baggage reclaim is located on Level 1 & 2. Consult the screens to see which conveyor belt will be delivering your luggage. As for Terminal C, all baggage reclaim is on Level 6.

Once you have your luggage, you can take the escalators to the Arrivals Hall where you’ll find ground transportation, rideshare pickups, and refreshments for your onward journey.

Orlando Airport Transport

Orlando Airport is well connected to the surrounding area via bus, shuttles, and taxis.

Taking a taxi is the most convenient way to travel as you’ll get a door-to-door service. You also won’t have to worry about carrying your luggage on public transport. A taxi to downtown Orlando shouldn’t take longer than 20 minutes (depending on traffic conditions).

For a personalised service with a professionally trained driver, you can book your private Orlando Airport taxi with Welcome Pickups.

If you’d rather take public transport, there are multiple bus services to choose from.

The Lynx Bus 11 departs every 30 minutes from the main terminal building and arrives at downtown Orlando in 40 minutes.

You can also take buses to popular destinations like Miami, Tampa and Daytona Beach.

Heading to Disney World or Universal Studios? You can find their shuttle buses as well as hotel resort buses on Level 1 of Terminals A & B.

If you’re collecting someone, consult the Orlando Airport Arrivals directions online to plan your journey.
