There are a few taxi companies that operate to and from Orlando airport, you can find these taxis at the two official Orlando airport taxi ranks. These two ranks are located outside Level 2 of Side A and Side B of MCO airport.

How to get from Orlando MCO airport to Disney World by shared shuttle van

If you choose to take a shared shuttle van, Disney World has you covered with their official operator, Mears Shuttle. It is also the same company that provides the free shuttle, Magical Express from Orlando airport. If you will be staying at a Disney-owned and operated hotel, you can book Mears Shuttle directly when booking your hotel room. However, it is not mandatory to make a reservation (though it still may be helpful during peak season). You can purchase your tickets when arriving at the airport, directly at the airport Mears desk. For your return flight, you simply need to let the Orlando airport Disney shuttle know when your flight leaves, and they will then assign you a pickup time.

How much is a shared shuttle van from Orlando airport to Disney World?

Where do I get it from?

You can get your Orlando Airport Disney shared shuttle van on the B-side of the terminal, on the Ground Transportation Level (level 1) at the B-side commercial lane spaces B41-B48.

Unfortunately, shared shuttle vans can be slow, as you will have to wait for the shuttle (which is often a big bus) to pick up numerous passengers and take them to their individual hotels. Allow about 1 hour 30 minutes from the time you get off the plane until you arrive at your hotel. (Direct driving time is 20 to 30 minutes.)

Please note, that for groups of four or more, a taxi or private shuttle costs about the same or even less and is a much faster and convenient option.

It is important to know that the free Disney World Express Shuttle is only for guests staying at a Disney World hotel. Moreover, the Express shuttle will stop operating in December 2021.
Passengers can only carry up to 2 baggage items per person, if you are travelling with more, you will have to pay extra for each piece.
It is customary to tip your shuttle driver between 10 % and 15 % of your shared ride's ticket price.

How to get from Orlando MCO airport to Disney World by bus

The cheapest way to get from Orlando International Airport to Disney World is by using the Orlando public transport system for your transfer, however, this is also the longest travel option as you will need to take two different buses to get to the park. You will firstly have to take the bus line 111 from Ioa Transfer Center at MCO airport to Sea Harbor Drive and Grand Vacations Way. From there, you will need to take a connecting bus, line 50 to WdW Transportation & Ticket Centre. After that, you will have a 10 minute walk from the bus station to Disney World. The first bus trip takes around 50 minutes and the second bus ride takes around 30 minutes. A one-way ticket on both buses cost $2 USD.

How much is a bus ticket from Orlando airport to Disney World?

Taking the public bus from Orlando International Airport to Disney World is definitely your cheapest option. You will need to by a different ticket for both buses, for the overall price of $4 USD (€3.30). You can purchase both tickets directly from your bus driver.

The bus line 111 runs everyday from 05:15 to 22:35 and the bus line 50 runs everyday from 00:00 to 23:30.

Where do I get it from?

Local public Lynx buses (red coloured buses), are located At terminal A, level 1, at Commercial Lane spaces A38-A41. You will be looking for the bus: To Florida Mall /Sea World (45 mins): Lynx bus 111.
The bus stop is easy to find as there are signs around the airport. If you are having difficulty finding the bus stop, you can always ask the airport staff – they would be happy to help.

Convenience

Although this is the cheapest way to get from MCO airport to Disney World, it is also the longest. Having to make your way through public transportation after a long flight, taking 2 different buses, with luggage and potentially children could be tiresome and complicated. Moreover, having to make your way from the final bus stop to Disney World by foot, is definitely not the easiest option. If you are not travelling on a budget, then it is highly recommended to chose another way to travel to the park.
