Terminal 1
Terminal 1 handles the majority of International and Domestic Arrivals at Osaka Airport. All arrivals exit on Level 1, with International Arrivals on the North Wing (divided into North and South International Arrivals) and Domestic Arrivals on the South Wing.

Terminal 2
Terminal 2 handles only low-cost carriers, and all arrivals exit on Level 1 but on different sides of the terminal. If you’re picking someone up, follow the relevant signs.

Arriving at Osaka Airport
If you’re arriving at Osaka Airport on an international flight, you will first need to go through Immigration at both Terminals 1 and 2. There, you need to present a valid passport if you’re an international traveler and a visa, if required. It’s best to check the visa requirements for Japan before your trip.
You will then proceed to Baggage Reclaim to collect your baggage. Check out the information boards to see which carousel has been assigned to your flight. Osaka Airport is very busy, so it may take a while to get your luggage.
After reclaiming your luggage, you can proceed to the exit, but don’t forget to stop by Customs, if needed. If you have goods to declare, you need to use the red channel, otherwise, you can use the green channel. Make sure to read the guidelines on Japan Customs in advance so you know which channel to use.
You can then proceed to the public area of the Arrivals Hall. Large TV panels are available at both Terminals 1 and 2, displaying International and Domestic Arrivals at Osaka Airport, which is useful if you’re at the airport to pick up a loved one.
Osaka Airport Transport
Osaka Airport is well-connected to the city center, which you can reach by train, bus, taxi, or private transfer. Kansai Airport Rapid Service, run by Japan Railways (the JR Line), runs every 20-25 minutes and it will take you to Osaka Station in the Umeda district in about 1 hour and 10 minutes. The Buses run by Kansai Airport Transportation Enterprise (KATE) depart every 15 minutes and are a bit faster, taking you to the Osaka city center in about 1 hour.
If you prefer door-to-door transportation any time during the day, you can take an Osaka Airport taxi from the official taxi ranks outside Terminals 1 and 2. Alternatively, you can pre-book an Osaka Airport transfer and have a driver waiting for you inside Osaka Airport Arrivals.
What to do in Arrivals at Osaka Airport?
Osaka Kansai International Airport Arrivals has all the necessary facilities at both Terminals 1 and 2 to ensure the best start to your trip. You can find all the basics, like restrooms, bank and currency exchange desks, customer service desks, and medical services. If you want to take a break after your flight and before heading to the city, you can spend some time at one of the many cafes and restaurants you will find at the arrivals at Osaka Airport. You could even visit the Sky Observation Hall to unwind after your flight with some spectacular views of the runway.

Osaka Airport Arrivals Parking
Both Terminals 1 and 2 at Osaka Airport have ample parking. The closest car parks to Terminal 1 are P1 and P2 car parks, which are multi-level car parks and directly connect to Terminal 1 Level 3. A bit further away, there are car parks P3 and P4, with open-air spaces.
Terminal 2 has its own car parks, P5 and P6. The rates are the same at all parking lots, and you can park free of charge for up to 30 minutes in all of them.
