Arriving at Stockholm Airport
After landing, you will disembark via a jet bridge or a shuttle bus if your plane has been assigned remote parking. The ‘Exit’ signs are clearly visible to guide you. If you are coming from a non-Schengen destination, you will go through passport controls before accessing the baggage claim area. You may also need to stop at Customs if you have items to declare.
There are usually no immigration checks for flights from the Schengen zone, but it’s a good idea to have your travel documents ready if necessary.
In the baggage claim area, screens list all Stockholm Arlanda arrivals. To pick up your bag, check the belt’s number for your flight.
Stockholm Airport Transport
Stockholm Airport is very well connected to the city centre and other major Swedish towns. The Arlanda Express train stops under each terminal and allows passengers to reach Stockholm in as little as 20 minutes. Bus services and low-fare, direct-service airport taxis are also available.
