Checking in at Stockholm Airport

At Stockholm Airport, departures take place at all three terminals—T2, T4, and T5. Checking in online is recommended to save time, but if you cannot, there are self-check-in machines in all terminals. You simply have to enter your details to print your boarding pass and baggage tag (if you have booked checked luggage).

You can also go to your airline’s counter if you cannot check in online or use a machine. However, be aware that many companies charge a fee for issuing boarding passes at the airport.

There are baggage drop zones at Arlanda departures. Once you have printed your bag tag at the automated machine, you simply need to attach it to your luggage’s handle and head to the specified drop zone. If your airline doesn’t offer a bag drop service, you will have to leave it at their check-in counter.

Non-EU residents can claim a VAT refund on eligible goods purchased in Sweden. If this is the case for you, you will need to stop by the Customs office to get the refund forms stamped, then go to the Refund counters in Terminal 5, available before and after security.

Arlanda Departures Terminal 2 – Check-in counters are on Floor 2.

Arlanda Departures Terminal 4 – Check-in counters are on Floor 2.

Arlanda Departures Terminal 5 – Check-in counters are on Floor 3.
