Istanbul International Airport

Istanbul Airport is fully accessible and offers special assistance for disabled travelers and people with reduced mobility. To make use of this service, it is recommended to notify the airline when purchasing tickets or at least 48 hours prior to the flight. 

Upon arrival at the airport, you can use the Assistance Call Points throughout the terminals to contact the service provider. Waiting time for those who have not made a reservation for this service may be up to 45 minutes.

IGA Airport offers a range of services and experiences for different needs. Whether you’re traveling with kids or just going solo, the iGA Pass offers various packages, with benefits such as access to private sleeping cabins, luggage storage, baggage wrapping, a buggy transport service, fast-track entry, car valet, and more. Ideal for business travellers, the iGA Pass Experience also offers premium services such as access to airport lounges, soundproof workspaces, and showers.

All passengers can use these services by booking online in advance. You can choose between different types of memberships, premium packages and day passes. You can also use the Istanbul Airport mobile app or stop by the iGA Pass sales desks located inside Istanbul Airport’s terminal.

Istanbul Airport has four lounges, each offering a variety of amenities and services for its passengers:

The iGA International Lounge

Facilities and services include rest areas, WiFi, a bar, food and beverages, and a duty-free area. Additionally, the lounge has a terrace, baggage locker area, prayer rooms, complimentary massage services, working stations, meeting rooms, and personal workspaces.

The iGA Domestic Lounge

The lounge is kitted out with rest areas, WiFi, a food and beverage area, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and digital newspapers and magazines. 

*Access to these lounges can be booked through iGA Pass (Plus, Extra, and Premium), Partner Airlines, contracted travel programs, and iGA Daily Pass.

Airline Lounges

The SkyTeam Lounge offers amenities such as newspapers and magazines, snacks, WiFi, showers, and flight information displays. The Turkish Airlines Business Lounge and Miles & Smiles Lounge also offer similar amenities, plus private suite rooms, playgrounds, and an open buffet.

*The SkyTeam and Turkish Airlines Lounges are available exclusively to airline passengers, passengers of member airlines, and membership holders.

Passengers traveling through IGA Airport can access free Wi-Fi for 1 hour via Türk Telekom’s wireless internet kiosks, located throughout all areas of the airport.

To connect, you can use either SMS or passport number verification. For SMS, simply click ‘Mobile Access’ on the kiosk screen, enter your phone number, and enter the SMS code sent to your phone. For passport number verification, follow the steps on the kiosk screen and enter the code you receive along with your passport number.

At Istanbul Airport, you can enjoy the secure IGA Luggage Wrap service. The service includes wrapping, boxing and wrapping, and air-bubble options. Payment can be made either by credit card or in cash. 

Travelers flying through Istanbul Airport can make use of the left luggage offices located in the iGA terminal building. 

Additionally, lockers are available near Gates 1 and 6 on the departures level. Small, Medium and Large sizes have different pricing.
