Berlin Airport

Berlin International Airport offers a Mobility Service for passengers with reduced mobility, and Information and Service desks. In addition to these services, the airport also has ramps and lifts, a wheelchair service, accessible parking near the terminals, and accessibility information on its official website.

The Mobility Service Team provides support to travellers with limited mobility, with or without their own wheelchair. If you access this service, you’ll get assistance from check-in to boarding or from your plane to arrivals. This service can be booked in advance by calling +49 30 609 172 744 or requested upon arrival at the airport, at the Information and Service desks. AAS Aviation & Airport Services GmbH is the official service provider.

The Information & Service Desks are located in the check-in areas and are available for any additional assistance or information.

VIP Service Zeitgeist at Berlin Airport (BER) offers travellers a convenient and stress-free experience and is especially popular amongst business travellers or frequent flyers. The service includes:

• Meet and Greet
• Check-in and baggage handling
• Priority security and border control
• Transfer to or from the aircraft
• Access to VIP Lounge Zeitgeist (T1 and T2)

*Premium parking is also available

To access this service, you must book in advance. You can do so by contacting by filling out an online booking form or contacting them via email ([email protected]) or phone (+49 30 609 172 780). VIP Prices start at €425 for the full experience with all services included, however, you can purchase smaller packages for things such as Meet and Greets (€50).

Berlin Airport provides two business lounges of its own, as well as various airline lounges. All lounges have modern amenities and facilities and offer comfortable seating and a variety of food and drink options.

• Lounge Tegel includes premium food, workstations, WiFi, TVs and showers – with prices starting at €36

• Lounge Tempelhof provides a relaxation area, workstations, a dining area, premium food and drinks, and a conference room – with prices starting at €48

• Lufthansa Business and Senator Lounges are reserved exclusively for Star Alliance passengers – with prices starting at €39

*There are currently no lounges in Terminal 2.

The business lounges can be booked online in advance, or you can pay at the entrance by card once you’re at the airport. Certain airlines like British Airways also use the VIP Zeitgeist Lounges, so you may be able to book the lounges through your airline. The Lufthansa lounges must be booked through the airline online or at the time of booking. 

If you have a lengthy layover at Berlin Airport but not quite long enough to bother booking a hotel, you can take advantage of the sleeping cabins provided by Napcabs. They are located in the public area on Level U1, outside of security. Prices start at €17 per hour between 06:00 and 22:00 and €12 an hour between 22:00 and 06:00.

Brandenburg Airport provides a free WiFi service on all levels throughout the terminal buildings. You can access the 24/7 service by simply connecting to the “Free Airport WiFi” network on your device. 

The airport’s WiFi portal also provides useful tips for your visit to the airport, up-to-date flight information, and interactive maps to get around more easily.

Baggage Storage and Baggage Wrapping services are available at Berlin Airport. The baggage storage service allows travellers to safely store their luggage at the airport and is located at the Train Station, Level U1.
