As a general guideline, departures from Dublin Airport to European destinations should arrive 2 hours before your flight’s scheduled departure time and 3 hours for longer-haul flights overseas.

Once you’ve checked in and dropped off your baggage you can make your way through to security. For passengers travelling to the US, you must also pass through the US Preclearance Facility located in Terminal 2 before boarding. You’ll be directed when to make your way to the facility via the flight monitoring boards. This service allows you to complete all immigration, customs and agriculture inspections at Dublin Airport prior to departure so that when you land at your destination, you can walk straight through to collect your baggage.
