Prague Airport Arrivals Terminal 1

Location – Arrivals Hall is on Level 1.

Arrivals at Prague Airport

Upon landing, you can follow the yellow “Passport Control” signs. There are two lines at the border, non-EU and EU only. All non-Schengen flight passengers will be required to pass through passport checks, so make sure you’ve checked which travel documents are needed to enter the Czech Republic. There are also e-gates available for faster clearance, just make sure you’re over 18 and have a biometric passport from an eligible country.

Next, proceed to baggage reclaim, check the monitors for the correct carousel, and pick up your suitcases. You can then pass through customs into Prague Airport’s Arrivals Hall. Just remember to brush up on customs regulations beforehand in case you have anything to declare.

Transport from Prague Airport Arrivals

Prague Airport is well connected to the city centre via buses. You’ll find ticket machines in the Arrivals Halls and bus stops in the forecourt directly outside of both terminals. Various providers offer different services to Prague and other destinations such as Karlovy Vary

Alternatively, you can hire a car from the car rental booths Václav Havel Airport Prague’s Arrivals Halls or, you can take a taxi or private transfer straight to your final destination.

What to do in Prague Airport Arrivals?

There are two terminals at Prague Airport, each with its own Arrivals Hall on Level 1. The halls provide travellers with everything they need for a smooth arrival into Prague including information points, currency exchange and cash services, Special Assistance, tax refund services, medical services, car rental companies, public transportation options, and a visitor centre.

You’ll also find some shops like Relay, and a few cafes and restaurants such as Starbucks, Burger King, and Mattoni Bar. Additionally, AeroRooms Hotel is located in Terminal 1 Arrivals.

Václav Havel Airport Prague Arrivals Parking

There are a few parking options for those heading to Prague Airport Arrivals. You can either book online in advance and land a discount or pay using the kiosks in the car park.

Short-term parking (PB Economy and PC Comfort): 2-minute walk to terminals, ideal for mini breaks and short trips – Rates: €3.20 (CZK 80) per hour. *long-stay rates are also available

Express parking (P1 and P2): 1-minute walk to terminals, drop off and pick up area – Parking is free for the first 15 minutes, then you’ll pay €4 (CZK 100) the next 15 minutes, and then €4 (CZK 100) per 30-minute increment.
