Faa’a Tahiti Airport is the main airport in the idyllic island nation of French Polynesia. Located on the island of Tahiti, the airport serves as the only international gateway to the archipelago, welcoming around 1.5 million passengers each year.
Only 11 airlines provide flights to and from Tahiti International Airport, including the national flag carriers Air Tahiti Nui, which offers international flights, and Air Tahiti, which operates domestically. Other long-haul airlines include Delta Air Lines and Hawaiian Airlines, with Aircalin and Air Rarotonga connecting passengers with nearby South Pacific countries.
