Next, proceed to the baggage reclaim area and check the screens to see where you must pick up your luggage. Then, head to the correct carousel, pick up your suitcase and exit into the public arrivals area through customs. Just be sure to check any customs regulations that apply to you.

After exiting Abu Dhabi International Airport Arrivals, you’ll find local buses directly outside. A few local services stop at the airport and head to various destinations including Abu Dhabi city centre and Dubai. You can buy bus tickets in the arrivals area. There is also an exclusive shuttle bus service for Etihad passengers, providing connections to both cities.

Alternatively, car rental companies, taxis, and private transfer services are also available at the airport. Providing a faster, more convenient mode of transport for your transfer from Zayed International Airport to your final destination.

There are two options for parking at Abu Dhabi Airport; the short-stay car park or the pickup area. The pickup area is free of charge and allows the pickup of passengers from the terminal forecourt, as long as your vehicle remains supervised. Alternatively, the short-stay car park is just a 1 minute from the terminal and is ideal for those who want to park and stay a little longer.
