An alternative and cheaper option is to take the bus from Abu Dhabi to Sharjah. Unfortunately, there are no direct bus routes from AUH airport, you will first have to make your way to Abu Dhabi Central Bus Station, where you can find bus line No 117. The bus takes around 2 hours 30 minutes to reach Sharjah Al Jubail.
