Arriving at Singapore Airport

Once you touch down at Singapore Airport, your journey through Arrivals is not too long or complicated. This is because the disembarking areas for each plane are connected to the Terminal buildings. Therefore, it’s a straightforward walk following the signs to “Arrivals”.

All passengers arriving at Singapore Airport need to submit an electronic Health Declaration Card.

If you are a citizen or resident of Singapore, you’ll be able to use the fast lane with automated clearance systems.

If not, you’ll need to provide:

  • Your visa (you can find the visa requirements here)
  • A valid passport
  • A fever vaccination certificate (if you have passed through a Yellow Fever area in the past 6 months)

After passport control, follow the signs to “Baggage Reclaim”. Once you’ve collected your luggage, you can pass through customs:

  • Walk through the green channel if you have nothing to declare
  • Walk through the red channel if you have goods to declare

We recommend checking the customs regulations before you travel.

Singapore Airport Transport

Multiple ground transportation options connect Singapore Airport to the city centre and other surrounding hotspots like Marina Bay. The bus and train routes are active and regular. You can catch both the bus and train from any of the terminal buildings.  Singapore Airport taxis are also plentiful. You can find the well-signposted taxi stands outside of every terminal building. Private transfers can also collect you from the car parks at Singapore Airport or directly outside of the terminal buildings.
